GORDO IN THE 1970s: Late August 1974

Paris keats Juarez, aka The Poet -- one of the strip's oldest characters -- rarely enjoys the opportunity to wax rhapsodic in the line of his profession these days. Marriage and fatherhood seems to have slowed even his energetic expounding, but he gets quite a few observations and even composes a minor ode over the better part of the week starting on August 27th.
