GORDO IN THE 1970s: Late September 1974

"Expediency hath no charm," declares Dog on September 18th of 1974, a phrase which may very well sum up Arriola's dedication to the elegantly delineated artwork which makes the strip so remarkable. Gordo's new electric icebox continues to be the focus of attention for an additional week, after which the world of nature reclaims some real estate through the end of the month.
